April 18, 2017 8:04 pm CDT

Ivan Nasser, Shipmyparts.com owner in Detroit Michigan (MI), has hired EVE – User Experience Design Agency to work on an e-commerce site for replacement parts. Nasser wants to distribute affordable HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) replacement parts to consumers and wholesalers directly. Shipmyparts.com will deliver merchandise all over the United States.Nasser has been in the heating & cooling industry for over a decade and is very familiar with the distribution of HVAC products (air conditioner, furnace, humidifier, heat pump, water heater). EVE has met with Nasser and gathered the data needed to begin the analysis process of the User Experience (UX).

EVE discussed with the client that Shipmyparts.com will have the upper hand against any major distributor because it cares about the initial importance of UX research work. This is the greatest missing step of any competitor. “We found out that UX design is so impactful for companies of every size that worldwide we are set to lose trillions of dollars per year in revenue by 2020 if companies continue to ignore the direct results of investing in UX,” According to the Uxmastery.com article “What’s the Impact of Investing in UX?” by Rosie Allabarton.

EVE has started meticulously working on the search and filtering functionality for Shipmyparts.com. It is crucial to locate parts by model numbers with instant loading times and relevant results. When users get immediate results it makes the process of purchasing quick and convenient. “An instantly satisfied user will be a happy buyer,” EVE founder, Eve Eden said.

Eden says a seamless shopping cart experience is also key to purchasing, especially with large bulk orders. Shipmyparts.com will incorporate benefits like free shipping promos to create more conversions and keep loyal customers satisfied.Machine learning functionality such as, ‘products needed with this Item’ will be incorporated as well. This will benefit customers who need help understanding exactly what they need to purchase.

EVE explains that having features that educates users always makes for a successful customer experience. EVE has already started building a Content Management System (CMS) for Shipmyparts.com. The purpose of a CMS is to have the ability to create and modify any digital content on Shipmyparts.com.

The last step to helping Nasser achieve his goal with Shipmyparts.com is branding the entire customer experience. The finishing touches on a solid business foundation is good customer experience. Nasser says that he is glad after the initial meeting with EVE, he found the process very detailed and is happy he was able to articulate what he wanted for Shipmyparts.com.

“Basically, I wanted to offer a service for replacement HVAC parts with full capability to ship throughout the U.S. I am able to see this project unfolding in a well planned manner. I anticipated the timeframe of going live would be 6 months to a year. The process is moving along smoothly with EVE and it looks like this will be ready to launch faster than I planned which is great.” Nasser said.

Meet Faraj Nayfa. We are currently managing the social media of his restaurant, Hala In, located in Mayfair neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. He is a seasoned small business owner of 11 years, and is busy with managing the restaurant.

Since he personally has no time or social media experience to curate an online presence for it, EVE has helped to start the foundation for an online following onInstagram and Facebook to reach customers Faraj would previously have missed out on.

It is important to recognize that social media marketing is becoming the new norm. While the start up of a social media strategy can be overwhelming, it doesn’t have to be.

While you focus on your passion of running your business, EVE is here to focus on our passion of helping you navigate the social media world and digital business.
